Damian Bonner

Damian-BonnerDamian Bonner began his safety career in November of 2001 as a Mechanical Maintenance Assistant where he dealt with all kinds of mechanical issues that arose in the workplace. He soon changed jobs in January of 2003 becoming an Environmental Supervisor/Project Manager for a corporation in Memphis, Tennessee. As an Environmental Supervisor, his job responsibilities entailed the supervision of a seven member team, as well as the clarification that all job sites were up to standards of code. While working in Memphis, Damian became certified as asbestos, lead, mold, confined space, remediation systems, and Hazwoper Supervisor/Project manager.

Following his extensive training, Damian was offered a job as a Supervisor/Project Manager with an Asbestos Abatement Company in November of 2006. His job responsibilities were dealing with materials such as asbestos, lead, mold, confined space, remediation systems, and Hazwoper. He was also in charge of several crews and making sure that each job was completed efficiently and safely. Damian’s certifications include the safety aspect of each listed certified state which displayed an only natural solution to promote him from Supervisor/Project Management to Safety Consultant. Damian was also certified in Lock Out/Tag Out soon after his promotion.

After his promotion as Safety Consultant and his previous years as a Supervisor/Project Manager experience Damian joined the Pearson Safety team in April of 2008 as an On-Site Safety Monitor. Some of the projects he has worked on include: Yokohama Tire-Mississippi, Cargill Project, Whiting-Turner- Unilever Project, Noranda Aluminum, and Kajima Building & Design-Trenton, SC where Damian oversaw all contractor site safety. Because of all of his safety training qualifications, Damian is a great asset to the PSS team and he strives to have “Safety in Every Direction”.
