Ken Bevis

Safety Professional

Ken Bevis has a 30-year career working in a manufacturing environment with Fortune 500 companies, where he gained extensive experience in managing safety in general industry.

While in the United States Marine Corps, Ken trained and served as an Aircraft Hydraulics / Airframes specialist on jet aircraft, earning multiple meritorious promotions and developing a passion for safety and training. Upon receiving his Honorable Discharge, Ken returned home to Jackson to begin his career in manufacturing.

Ken became a certified trainer with Maytag in 1998. His experience includes managing assembly, stamping, injection molding, and tire manufacturing and serving as a project manager for plant decommissioning, relocations, new projects and startups. Overseeing relocation activities allowed Ken to get involved in construction safety working with contractors in the decommissioning, rigging, and loading out of large equipment and processes. This experience gave Ken practical knowledge of OSHA safety requirements in construction which opened the door to construction safety.

In 2016, Ken began his first role as a Safety Manager in a manufacturing facility, where he earned certifications in OSHA10 and OSHA30. Ken joined Pearson Safety Services in 2021 to combine his passions for safety and training. His work in this position helps businesses protect workers from accidents as well as successfully training them to recognize and eliminate potential hazards.
